Homemade Burger

Ingedients to make Homemade Burgers


  • 500g (1lb) of lean beef mince
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons of dry oregano leaves
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns, cut in half
  • tomato, chilli or barbecue sauce
  • 3 tomatoes sliced




  • Work the beef mince into 4 patties
  • Place the 4 patties into a large frypan over medium heat
  • Top the patties with the onion you finely chopped, oregano and salt and pepper. Press on the burger and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side
  • Toast the buns in your oven then place the lettuce, beef patty, sauce and tomaotos onto one half of the bun
  • Place the other half of the bun on top and serve immediately


Note: Use your imagination to add different ingrendients to your burger including cheese, beetroot, capsicum etc.
