Garlic Parmesan Popcorn







Serves: 4



Preparation and Cooking Time: 10 minutes






  • 4 cloves crushed garlic

  • 25 g butter + tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 cup of popping corn

  • 2 tablespoons oil if you decide to use a saucepan for the popcorn to cook in

  • 1/2 teaspoon vegetable or sea salt or 1 tablespoon sesame salt above

  • 2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese





  • Place the garlic, butter and oil into a small saucepan or a microwave safe bowl and melt together, simmer for 1 minute to infuse the garlic.

  • To pop the corn on a saucepan, heat a saucepan, add the oil until its very hot, add the popcorn and mix well.

  • Put on a lid and cook on high heat until it starts to pop, lower the heat and continue cooking until the popping stops.

  • Remove from the heat and pour in the garlic butter, mix through the salt and cheese and serve while hot.
