Bacon Pizza

Ingedients to make a Bacon Pizza

 

  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 red capsicum (red pepper)
  • 1 large onion finely chopped
  • 200g (70z) button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil
  • 100g (3.5oz) bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon chilli flakes
  • 1 large tomato, finely diced
  • 6 small lebanese flatbreads
  • 100g (3.5oz) of cheddar cheese grated
  • salt and pepper

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Instructions

 

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees (400F), Combine the garlic, capsicum (red pepper), onion, mushrooms, olive oil, bacon, chilli flakes, basil and tomato in a large bowl. Cover the container and refrigerate for 10 minutes so the vegetables can combine and add flavour.
  • Spray or lightly brush a little olive oil onto each lebanese bread
  • Remove the vegetables from the fridge and spread onto the lebanese bread
  • Sprinkle the grated cheese on top. Add salt and pepper. Bake on a greased baking tray for

8-10 minutes in the oven. Once cooked serve hot. Cut each flat bread into 4 slices for easy eating
